Detroit sells a quarter of physical copies that Heavy Rain

The shift towards the digital market means that, even so, it is a sales leader in the United Kingdom.

The GamesIndustry portal has some interesting data about the debut week of the new Quantic Dream in the United Kingdom. One that has boosted Detroit Become Human as the most sold of the week in the islands, but that leaves us an interesting comparison with Heavy Rain.

If Detroit: Become Human has enjoyed a great launch in that area in its first week on sale has been, mainly, for its commercial numbers in the digital. According to the British website, David Cage's new game has sold a quarter of physical copies of what Heavy Rain achieved in its debut week back in 2010.

8 years ago there was not so much market inclination for the digital, so the data tells us more about the displacement in the new times of the players towards downloadable games than anything else.
