Microsoft would be working on a system of mods for Xbox One
The Xbox Community Content program would be similar to Steam Workshop.
Following the current trend of offering more facilities to users to apply mods to games , Microsoft would have been working recently on a system similar to Steam Workshop, but on Xbox One. According to Windows Central's findings , the Xbox Community Content program would reach end of summer, at a moment without specifying.
If we want to validate this rumor, Xbox Community Content would cover the entire Microsoft gaming ecosystem, unlike in games like Fallout 4 , Skyrim: Special Edition or Halo 5 , where its managers open specific sections for their games with the goal to manage the content of users.
Based on existing information, developers and editors would be free to determine which aspects of their games can be modified (weapons, maps, characters and so on) and also decide how monetization of all these elements works.
