Pokémon GO releases the exchanges this week
This defendant feature is accompanied by the list of friends and gifts.
After a couple of years of asking for this feature, fans of Pokémon GO can finally exchange their virtual companions in a new update that will arrive later this week. And it does not come alone, but it is released together with the function of friend lists and gift exchanges.
How does it work? As indicated in the official Pokémon GO blog, we will have to share our new coach code with our friends, and once they add us, accept their requests. We can send gifts that we find by turning a photo disc to the friends of our list: they will include some random objects or even an egg of a Pokémon in its Alola form.
What's more, if we play with our friends regularly, we can raise our friendship level (up to one each day) to unlock passive bonuses during raids or gym bouts. There also come into play the exchanges, which have several quite specific prerequisites that you can read directly in the Niantic entry .
